Morning Routine
9.00am - Welcome and Register
Children self-register with their key worker and come together to discuss the day's activities.
9.15am - Main Play Session
Children explore the indoor and outdoor environment through child-led play and focused activities.
10.30am - Snack Time
Children help prepare and serve a healthy snack, developing independence, social skills and communication.
10.45am - Main Play Session
Children continue their learning through play, exploration and staff-led activities.
11.20am - Tidy Up Time
Children work together to care for their environment and resources.
11.30am - Gather Time
A chance to reflect on learning, share achievements and plan next steps.
11.40am - Small Group Time
Story, music, movement or sensory activities based around our core book.
12.00pm - Home Time
For children attending the morning session only.
Afternoon Routine
12.00pm - 1.00pm - Lunchtime Provision
Children are actively involved in preparing for lunchtime by helping to set the tables before enjoying a meal with their friends. This is an important part of the nursery day, providing valuable opportunities to develop independence, social skills and confidence.
For children accessing the 30-hour provision, school meals are available at a cost of £2.75 per day. All lunches are freshly prepared on site.
Alternatively, children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home if preferred.
1.00pm - Welcome and Register
Children self-register and learn about the activities planned for the afternoon.
2.15pm - Main Play Session
Indoor and outdoor play experiences supported by staff through our play-based curriculum.
2.30pm - Snack Time
Children enjoy a healthy snack while developing social and life skills.
2.40pm - Gather Time
An opportunity to share learning and reflect on the day.
2.45pm - Small Group Time
Focused activities linked to our core book, including stories, music and sensory experiences.
3.00pm - Home Time
If you are a parent with other siblings in school who finish at 3.30pm, then nursery children can stay until 3.30pm for a small charge of £1.50.
