Pupils from the School Council at St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Barnard Castle recently visited William Smith for a design briefing as part of an exciting toilet refurbishment project.

Working alongside Pippa, the children shared the colour preferences that pupils across the school had voted for over the previous week. During the session, they explored a range of design options and viewed digital before-and-after images to help them visualise how different choices could transform the spaces.

The School Council carefully considered not only colour schemes but also textures and finishes, thinking about what would work best for different areas including walls, doors and sink spaces. The project gave pupils the opportunity to contribute their ideas and help make decisions that will benefit the whole school community.

After reviewing the options, the children were delighted with the final colour choices and are looking forward to seeing the completed results when the toilets have been fully resurfaced and professionally wrapped.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School would like to thank the team at William Smith for their support and expertise. The school is excited to continue working together on the project and can't wait to see the finished transformation.
